Way to go FPD...not! A woman was standing in the rain in the turn lane of BJ's with her flashers on and hood up. This cop...car number 1426 or 1626 (it was raining and difficult to make out) did not bother to stop. I am hocked that he this police officer didn't bother to ask if she needed help. I also know that the cop did not turn around because we were going the same way.
It is possible this cop had a call, but no flashing lights were own....and I would also recommend a class on blinker usage as well.
So way to go FPD...your fines at was in it this morning and you wonder why the community has a poor opinion of you.

It's refreshing to see how much you care FPD. In 31 days you cannot even bother to acknowledge this posting.
I still see your officer breaking traffic rules and doing as they please, but given the lack of response to my post why should I be surprised.

Did you read the part that stated he may have had a call, but his lights were not on?
I am well aware that a call would take priority over a stalled car, however, his actions (lack of flashing lights, slow speed, and such) indicated he did not have a call.
I am also aware of the fact that had that been my loved one broke down in the rain I would be infuriated that he didn't bother to stop if he was not headed to a call.
Not long after I posted this I stopped to assist at a car accident that happened in front of me. Very shortly after the accident an ambulance pulled up and asked if anyone needed medical attention. The driver clearly stated he was headed to a call, but would have some else come if needed.
Thankfully, no one needed medical assistance, but that driver showed amazing commitment and character by slowing down to see if any help was needed.
The cop I mentioned may have also called in to someone without stopping. I am not sure. I am only sure about what I saw and how it appeared.
There are some amazing people in law enforcement, but just like any profession there are also some dirt bags.
So thank you for your opinion, but I stand by mine.
