A few months back the city seemed to have installed electronic speed readers but took them down within days of installing. This section of Oak Street needs major improvements for safety reasons. Whether raised sidewalks could be installed, electronic speeds readers, etc. I've noticed a police speed trap periodically, but those only slow down traffic within the industrial zone as the speed trap parks in the industrial zone. If the city goes forward with the proposed trail off Oak Street, there will be even more danger/safety issues with people crossing this street at a higher rate potentially. Last night I heard tires squealing around the corner in with the slickened road due to their speeds.

I run and walk my dog a lot on Oak Street and I do have to say that cars drive way too fast. I think raised crosswalks would be a great idea, or electronic speed readers to let drivers know just how fast they are going.

I just got home to let me dog out and, of course, another "bang" outside of someone hitting the curb and having to pull over on the side of Oak Street due to ANOTHER flat tire.

We reported this issue back in September but nothing has been done about it. Please put better signs up on Oak street with the speed limit - people drive way too fast. We have an almost two year old and do not feel safe walking out to our cars as we are right on the bend in the road and people are driving up the hill going 45 and are way too close to the curb.

Please put some speed readers and/or better signage. People go very fast on this stretch of Oak St. Plenty of cars don't even stop for a stopped school bus in front of the Coptic church - I see it all the time.

This is an issue for the Town Safety Committee chaired by the Natick Police Department. You should follow up with them. That is literally the only way to get signage of this type put up in Natick.
