It's actually been there for more than a month, and of course the trash pile around it is growing daily. I have called 311 six times, and entered the problem into the 311 phone app. Nothing. On my phone app submission, the problem was reported resolved last week. Apparently, someone came out and observed that there was in fact a busted TV sitting on the sidewalk, which meant the problem was resolved. Obviously it wasn't.
I spent a good part of the morning yesterday on the phone with many people from the Department of Public Works. One of the finally agreed to send someone out today to "look at it." I suggested they bring a truck too, so they could remove the trash instead of just looking at it. I'm not at all optimistic.
