The Street Maintenance division has closed this work order. Foxtrot Drive is a private road and the City of Fayetteville does not maintain it. If you have a HOA or if you know the developer of that area you can contact them for repair, if you do not have a HOA or do not know the developer please contact your City Council Representative. Private road or not all of the city of fayetteville big garbage trucks go out in this road twice weekly and they are destroying this road every-time it is fixed. PWC and Piedmont Natural Gas all use this drive. My friend could have lost his life because the unusually slow process in which it took fire and ems to get back to him/then get him back out to a decent road. I will not accept that for an answer. If you use it, you fix it! Rather it is the City, the Fayetteville PWC or Piedmont Natural Gas or combination of the three. I am expecting something done about this road or further action will be taken the very next time an emergency call is made and the response is slow down.

Why have I not heard anything else from this complaint? Is it just going to sit here open or is some department head going take this complaint, investigate it and DO something about it. Just to say it is a private is unacceptable when the City of Fayetteville, PWC and Piedmont Natural Gas all use this road. Not to mention all the pick up trucks of people trespassing on PWC to steal pine straw and the traffic of other vehicles that go back there and do ungodly things. If you use it, you fix it. Thank you so much for taking care of this issue.

Issue still not yet fixed. I have written every city commissioner and the Mayor and not gotten one reply from anyone.

The Street Maintenance division has closed this work order. City management is looking into how to handle private street maintenance as a whole throughout the city. There is no timeline as of yet, but it is an important topic and should be addressed as soon as possible. We are closing out this work order until a decision is made by management.
