I would still believe this to be an issue. I would understand if the original poster was speeding through there, but if the light holds for a long time, especially in the middle of the day as I know it tends to do, then it is a legitimate request. Plus we don't know where their destination is within that area, it could be UNCG or it could be their house. Re-opening this issue.

You would feel differently if the cars were speeding past your house. The light at Glenwood and Lovett changes almost immediately when a car pulls up......I pass through there often as I do live close to that intersection.

I completely understand where you are coming from, used to live in a neighborhood similar where there was a lot of through traffic. This request is for Glenwood and W. Florida however, not Glenwood and Lovett.

Cars need to go slower on Glenwood, or not at all...too many cars (and Buses) fly down Glenwood, don't encourage more traffic!

If you don't live here, then why are you commenting on this subject. Glenwood and Lovett do not intersect. I know that because I live in the neighborhood and I'm affected by these types of issues.

Why all the hostility? Don't believe he mentioned where he currently lives, and maybe that's because he does live there and doesn't want the internet to know where he lives. Or not. It doesn't matter either way. The city of Greensboro DOT will handle this as they see appropriate I am sure.

The hostility is because issues like this greatly affect the quality of life for Glenwood residents. Moreover, GDOT doesn't really have a good track record of looking out for the welfare of Glenwood residents. Lovett Street would be a good example of this.
