Thank you for contacting the Office of Community Development. Our office is required to take certain information for all Housing and Property Maintenance compliances. As of June 20, 2012 all complaints regarding Housing and Property Maintenance must be accompanied with an offical Housing & Property Maintenance complaint form. The form can be obtain on the Town's website on the Community Development homepage or by clicking on the following link:

The form can be completed and submited directly online.
The Property Maintenance Ordinance does not require the Town to investigate anonymous complaints. All form will be retained at the Office of Community Development at 100 High Street.

It is unacceptable that someone has to fill out a form to file a complaint. What is the purpose of this website then? People aren't just going to complain about random things. This is bringing the property value of the whole neighborhood down as well as the town. Please drive by and see for yourself. Thank you!

Has anyone driven by this house yet? It is just getting worse. I hope the town does something!

Thank you for notifing our office. The property is on our list of blighted properties and will be inspected as soon as we can get to it.

The property was inspected on 6-11-12 and determined to be in violation. Enforcement procedures are underway.

This guy has loaded some garbage into his truck and left it there. It looks even worse now. It has been going on 2 weeks now that this has looked like this. This just needs to be cleaned up it is an absolute health hazard as well as an eye sore to the whole neighborhood. Please please please have this resolved it is unbeliveable. Its a shame looking at this when I walk my dog. I can just image what the neighbors think.
