We are contacting you regarding the above address.
During the last YEARS (+6) there has been a ongoing situation with the royal palms in their back ally; this palms are always touching the transformers that provide electricity to more than 30 properties in the block today once again (this is happening at least every other month meaning a power outage more than 6 times a year not to mention during winds and storms).
This Transformer has exploded more than once it has even caught fire which is even a greater hazard.
We have been told by FPL that they can't not do anything about it since the palms are inside the owner property, today the owner of the property after another power outrage asked FPL to trim the palms as little as possible (Of course we will be on the same situation shortly)
If this is the case we can get signatures of all houses that are suffering this situation every other month in order to find out a solution for this problem since the owner does not care about this.
If FPL can't take care of these palms since they are inside the property line the owner should take care of it!

Dear Hollywood1800,
We forwarded your concerns to the City's Police Department Division of Code Enforcement and Police Major Sanchez advised the following:
"FPL trims all trees that are interfering with their power lines. There is not a city code violation for this. Nonetheless, I will ask the area code officer to contact a supervisor for FPL."

We have received this answer before (there is no code violation therefore the city is not responsible) this is the answer from the city, FPL will give the same answer we can't trim the palms since they are inside the property line.
This situation is a never ending 30+ homes are affected every time this happening two times during the last year the transformer catch fire!!!!
Hope this time there's a better outcome for this
