Huntsville Connect Customer Service assigned this issue to Huntsville Parking Department

The charger is checked every week day and is re-booted if not working. If there is any weather issues it does flip the switch and needs to be re-booted again. We are currently looking at a better solution.

It's out of order today, 12/6/2015. It was out of order yesterday! In fact, in the last month I have never found it to be working. You can never read the screen...impossible. The directions are completely wrong..At least revise those.. This thing had to have costed a lot of money (I know that it was donated.). I gave up on it, although it was the reason that I bought 2 (yes two not one) electric cars. I went to Home Depot and bought a $500 Seimens 240 volt charger. It has never one time failed to work.

We want to apologize for all the problems with the electric vehicle(EV) charger; we have struggled with this one. After getting the screen repaired there were other issues and we found it is no longer serviceable. This model was discontinued shortly after it was donated to the City. We are in the process of finding a replacement and want the same level charger. We are looking at a couple and hope to have one in place soon. We appreciate your patience and do apologize that the charger has been off line for so long.
