We understand Code Enforcement officer is doing his/her job, however, the owner might as well be DEAD and may in fact be DEAD. House is in foreclosure; no amount of "encouragement to comply" is going to work. Question is"WILL COUNTY RESOURCES FOR WHICH TAXPAYERS OF UNINCORPORATED PAY FOR CUT AND CLEAN UP THIS EYESORE AND HEALTH HAZARD AND CHARGE TO "OWNER"? Please take this to your top level and the neighborhood will go from there. IT'S SIMPLE - YES OR NO. Thank you.

This is a health issue and needs to be handled immediately with a clean up and the owner can be billed or a lien put against the property at a later date. James McGarrah

Well, if Code Enforcement is going to bounce this repeatedly, then I'd recommend the original poster contact County Health, or the Sheriff's Office.

From Pinellas County: We have notified the property owner as required by law to clear the property. We will be sending out our contractor to mow the lawn and pickup the trash on the property.

All of your suggestions have been tried, my neighbors. Owner is AWOL. Bank is AWOL. Everybody's passing the buck and have been for months. Not Code Enforcement front line lady or man's fault. I should not have to stand before the County Commission and beg! And Mike Deeson is busy! Same thing at 1287 State Street, 33755 until somebody took care of most of stuff like this on their own. Thank you for your support. We must stick together.

We have one of these in our neighborhood also and not the city NOR the city of Largo has lifted a finger. It's ridiculous.
