Description
Pine Ave sw has become a shortcut from Governors Drive to Jordon Lane/Patton Rd & access to the Arsenal.
Between roughly 06:00 & 08:00 numerous vehicle fly down Pine Ave at high speed. The speed limit is 25mph.
Nearby 14th street was re-paved & speed bumps were added.
What is the process to have speed bumps placed on Pine Ave?
If speed bumps are not feasible, some regular Police speed traps may help for awhile.
The south end of Pine Ave meets 9th Ave sw right in front of Westlawn School. The children who walk to school should not be subjected to 40-50 mph traffic on a residential 25mph street.
