Although there is probably nothing they can do about the lack of a public restroom, it was an egregious design oversight. When the garage opened up a few years ago, I was stunned by the fact that there were no restrooms to be found.

Again, I actually visited this restroom, and it is open and available, as of March. What's the problem you're noting? What time of day are you attempting to use it?

Thank you for taking the time to communicate your concerns about the garage off of Evelyn Ave. The supervisor in charge of the maintenance of this site will address the situation to ensure the staircases and pavement are pressure washed weekly as scheduled. Graffiti is a weekly occurrence that is abated within 24 hours of notification. Our Facilities Superintendent reported the public restroom of the train station was closed for repairs on April 2, 2010, and that a portable restroom and washing station was delivered for the public’s use during this closure. The restroom was vandalized and required significant work to correct. Necessary repairs included replacement of the interior walls, plumbing, new wall tiles, and a new coat of paint. The restroom is scheduled to reopen on April 21, 2010. Caltrain operates the ticket vending machines at this garage. Parks Supervisor Eccles visited the site yesterday and reported both machines are working. He noted this garage used to have machines on all floors. Today the only machines available are on the main floor. Please contact Caltrain at (800) 660-4287 to report a disabled ticket vending machine.

Hello Pete,
I wanted to make a correction to the email I sent to you yesterday, April 20, 2010. I have since received more information about the garage maintenance off of Evelyn Avenue. The garage is pressure washed 4 times a year and not weekly as my earlier email stated. The schedule for pressure washing is twice in the spring and twice in the fall. The last pressure wash was completed on April 8, 2010. The garage is swept every Tuesday and the trash is taken out on Tuesday and Friday. Garage is in good repair, thank you Sunnyvale Parks. No response from Caltrain about the parking ticket machines.
