There is a dumpster on
Bread Street in Old City. It is literally half in Bread Street. Bread
Street between 2nd and 3rd closest intersection of the dumpster. The dumpster is constantly overflowing with trash. It attracts homeless who come by and unpack the dumpster. I'm also concerned it might be attracting
rats, etc. due to household food waste. What can I do have the
dumpster
moved out of the street? The building has a gated parking area it could be located to. This is a historic area next to the Betsy Ross house I cannot imagine what tourists must think of the mess and homeless people by the dumpster on Bread Street. Thanks!

July 19, 2012 reported to 311 online. They indicated they cannot accept pictures I need to give them to the department when they come out. Unfortunately they cannot tell me when said department I assume license and expections will come out. So I started looking for another place to post pics.

Latest update license and inspection assigned to. Sent numerous pictures on different days. Email from 311 they cannot give pictures to department I would have to give pictures when they come out. Um, I can't sit by the dumpster every day with the pictures waiting for someone to give them too???

Unfortunately this issue continues. There has been an old carpet laying by the dumpster for weeks. There are prescription pill bottles under the dumpster. Yesterday there were plastic trash cans around the overflowing dumpster. Food from trash bags continues to lay all over outside the dumpster. I have no idea how license and inspections finds this issue unfounded.

Because of construction of apartments I assume Bread Street now has a hole near the dumpster. Dumpster has been moved more in the middle of Bread Street. The mess continues! I spoke with license inspector said she came out and saw no issues. I really don't get it?!

Still a mess! There are new apartments becoming available soon next door. I'm hoping the people who move into these apartments will agree the dumpster is a mess and something can be done.

Continues to be a mess! Residents of 229 Arch (new apartment complex) are moving in. I contacted 229 Arch to see what they they thought of the trash no response.

2014 and this dumpster is still a mess along Bread Street. AND now 229 Arch apartments have several dumpsters along Bread Street. Disgusted by this what us locals and tourists have to look at.
