When I check the Princeton web site http://www.princetonparking.org/enforce.html it says "Parking meters are enforced in Princeton Monday through Saturday from 8 AM to 7 PM, with the following exceptions:
...
Meters in the Central Business District are enforced Monday through Saturday 8 AM to 8 PM and Sunday 1 PM to 8PM
Presumably Nassau Street in front of Hulits is CBD- so it SHOULD be metered Sundays also. 8a-8p? 1p-8p? Different signs say different things.
I am asking in response to an out of town visitor's question to me as I was sitting on the bench in front of Hulits- the meter label vs. the signs on the pole was confusing them.
