The City lets the homeless advocates pass the syringes out with there blessing. PWD employees will not pick them because it is to dangerous. The City and the advocates should not be passing syringes if they have no way of recovering ALL of them. PWD who is responsible for there clean up???
Very disturbing. Advocates need to go and clean this mess up that they have created. Only a health official should be handing these out if the city is allowing this. Also a pick up process needs to happen. It is very reckless for this to be allowed and the city should be held accountable if something does happen. Oakland has no respect for kids, the homeless took up the parks and now the dumping of syringes. Not getting it.
