You inspected the property in the middle of Spring Break when these students were away. Please visit again - photos attached are typical: at least 5 cars. Usually parked all over the front lawn area. Also please not the trash in the yard and blowing around the street.

On March 8, 2016, Officer Martin spoke with the occupants of the house. Four people live there; two are brothers. They have three vehicles. Officer Martin will continue to monitor the property. Mr. Martin, the neighbor living across the street tells me that he has been awakened more than once by loud party noises coming from this house at 3:00 or 4:00 in the morning. Currently, as of 1:30PM today, there are four vehicle parked at the residence; if you inspect at night you will find as many as seven. I realize that noise complaints are matters to be reported to the police and have advised the neighbor to call the police the next time it occurs. I serve on the UPNA Board and reside one block away.

This is a perfect example of the nightmare college student rental property that is in violation of code and that exists with little or no regard to the neighborhood. We have spoken to the residents on several occasions and have been met with nothing but resistance and arrogant defiance.

I re-inspected this property at approximately 11:00 am today and found four vehicles park near the home, this address is not with-in the "University Context Area" therefore a parking plan is not required nor are there any limitations on where cars are parked. Officer Martin was able to speak to the occupants and determined that 2 brothers and 2 others have permanent residents at this address, based on this information they do not exceed the occupancy ordinance. I did not see anything during my inspection that violates any of the city ordinances Code Enforcement is charged with enforcing. I would encourage anyone that feels that a noise violations is being committed to call the police and if the trash can or any other debris left on the curbside for pick-up be reported to the solid waste division at 334-2330.
