There is an abandon house @ 2416 n. 30th st with a hughe tree in it's back that was hit by lighting a few yrs. back, now the tree is falling over and the only thing that is keeping it from hitting the ground is my house and my neighbors 2417 n. Corlies, because it's leaning against the back's of our houses and is knocking down the telephone wires our fences we reported it to L&I and 311 over a yr. ago and nothing has been done yet. L&I said it's the owner's problem 311 said they would report it to L&I. To me seems like the only thing you can get from the city is your taxes rasied and you can bet it won't take forever to do it.

This property is already listed as a vacant property under Licenses and Inspections and that includes the tree. This property was inspected twice. After the 3rd time, the case will go to court where court fees will be added to the existing violations.
Please contact your telephone company to report that the tree is on the telephone wires. Thank you. (mb)
