The potholes are still there - still dangerous.

This is still an open issue -not repaired. Thank you - what to do???

I noticed that your issue had been posted in the ocean by mistake. That might account for why the local government hasn't responded yet. I replaced it at the intersection of Montauk Hwy and Baypoint Drive. Does that sound right to you?

DPW Highway department will check out Montauk Highway in Moriches - Waterways Development for any potholes that may be our responsibility.

Please be advised that our crew has investigated this complaint and the potholes are behind the curb line on BayPoint Drive. This falls under the Town of Brookhaven…..you will have to contact them at 732-3571.

I believe the Town was there yesterday (4/29) repairing the potholes - I saw them after the repair and they were filled with water. The material will definitely not hold up and unfortunately I do not think this is fixed for the long haul. I do thank them for their response and attempt but would there must be a more permanent way of repairing this area. Thank you.

I don't think any more can be done about the existing potholes at this time. They were temporarily filled in. We shall see how it holds...
