Hi Brian,
As a fellow user of SeeClickFix (and not a member of the Burlington govt'), I appreciate you adding these comments. However, I've received 3 notifications about issues you have with this intersection and all of those issues are within a 50 ft radius of each other.
I don't mean to cause frustration, but the Burlington Dept of Public Works and Code Enforcement. monitors this site and does an exceptional job of communicating with the public. Please, try to consolidate these compounded concerns into a single item and include additional photos. I do not want to see this system interpreted as abuse and lose the great communication with have these departments. There have been complaints and issues raised about the bridge repeatedly. I believe both Winooski and Burlington have applied for Federal grants to repair the bridge.
For what it's worth, there is presently an ongoing study and periodic public meetings on the safety of this intersection as a whole. If you would like to voice your opinion or hear how this is going, please, reach out to Richard Hillyard, Ward 1, at pompeyhccc[AT]hotmail.com or Anne Brena, Ward 8, at anne.brena[AT]gmail.com
