Per message the home owner stated they would be moving heavy equipment out over next several months. That is unacceptable and sounds very much like a stall tactic on the owners part. In the mean time housing values will continue to decline and tempers continue to escalate due to the nuisance of the property at 611 Plumtree.

Has anyone from the zoning office been out to see if any progress has been made since the initial visit? They are either in compliance, or not, and if not, should be cited until they comply.

Update has been requested from Planning and Zoning.

It would seem the county intends to let the homeowner have a considerable amount of time to resolve these continuing zoning violation issues. Why have they not been formally cited for these violations?

The Chief of Zoning Enforcement reports that a Notice of Violation (NOV) will be sent to the homeowner this week. By law, certain procedures and time frames must be allowed the homeowner. Those times frames have passed, thus the NOV will be sent.

The fact that the owner of this home claims that they are moving to WV is irrelevant. How long are we supposed to wait for them to clean their garbage up? The semi-tractor trailer, the old winnebago, the mulitple cars on the front, side and back lawns, have been there for over eight years. Now there is large commercial backhoe on the property, as well as the cabin for a large 18-wheeler tractor trailer. This has to be addressed. I would ask that the individuals on the Zoning Enforcement ask themselves the following; would you want a junkyard right in front of your development?

BTW - I love the recent addition of the cadillac on the front lawn?

Can you explain exactly what the County has done to rectify this issue? What was the NOV sent and when? Nothing from our perspective has changed...except for the new trailers on the front lawn. The situation is actually getting worse.

How can you close an issue, without communicating what has been done?

There has been no improvement in the property's appearance. The bulldozer and commercial vehicles are all still there. It's been 2 months since the issue was reported. What are the actions that the law department is taking?

Charging documents were filed with the Court - The Law Department is waiting for the Court to set a date for trial.

Per Law Department Court date is 9/14/16.

What is the status of this issue? There has been NO apparent change on the property, in fact, a bus seems to have appeared in the back yard.

It's amazing that it has been almost 6 months since our first complaint and we still have no resolution. Agree with DickT, "absolutely incredible".

This remains an open and active and open enforcement case.

Why does it take 10 months to have someone clean up their trash and the junk in their yard? The Semi truck in their driveway apparently hasn't been moved in over 20 years. Now there is literally an 18 wheeler parked on their front lawn. I can only imagine what the inside looks like.

Dear County Representative,

Please be advised; we are a 36 member HomeOwners Association of Plumtree Estates Section II, Inc. We will be holding our annual HOA members meeting next month where this grevence and continued nuisance is to be discussed in detail. Of primary issue is if our HOA has legal grounds for consideration in filing a lawsuit over this case against both the offending property owner and Harford County for damages resulting from negative impact to property values and marketability of homes in the Community area. We are entering close to one year with no real resolution to this problem. You have a good number of upset Harford County good standing taxpayers in our HOA. Unfortunately, we are fast loosing confidence in our County's ability to take decisive action on this issue.

What was the outcome of the court hearing on Nov. 9th? Per the entry by Ms. Walker on 3/23/16, the owners stated they purchased property in WV and will be relocating the bulldozers and equipment in the next several months. Is your office able to confirm that settlement occured?
