General question for who ever can answer it.
Has the City ever considered a yard debris pick up in the Spring? Coordinating a yard debris pick-up around the time of street sweeping or green up day could potentially reduce the amount of debris being washed into storm water catch basins, help out property owners, as well as clean up Burlington.
Thank you.

You can drop off yard debris free at a Chittenden Solid Waste District site. The McNeil Generating station also offers this free drop off service.

Spoke with them yesterday morning about this. They just don't do it. They street sweep in the Spring only. I've dropped off yard debris/leaf litter at the McNeil Generating plant, but its not easy with a small car.
A Spring leaf pick up after winter could help clean thing up A LOT in the city, minimize illegal dumping on city property, and minimize yard waste in the storm drains.
