Contractors working on property on 15th between Montrose and Carpenter have been dumping construction debris in the breezeway adjacent to 1502 Montrose Street. Spoken to the subcontractors on several occasions to no avail.

i just received a call that the sanitation police stopped by to observe the trash in the breezeway. they cannot remove the trash, but stated that they will fine the owner.

it's a start.

We can forward a ticket to Licenses and Inspections so that they can come out and issue violations to the contractors for the mess. We would need to know what time of the day the work is being done. Thank you. (mb)

This issue has been resolved. Neighbors removed the trash during the April block clean up.
