everytime there is a fire call in darby,pa we have at lease 5 cars with blues lights travelin at high rate speed get to the car.
I attended a funerel in the cememtary and they came flyin by me

Not a thing these whackers do what ever they want and when you criticise them in any way that start on their holier than thou attitude about how we need them and what if it was your house or family that needed them.
get rid of them all and start a paid county fire department but that wont happen (same with police too) do we really need 39 police chief making over $100 K a year?

Blue lights do not give the right to exceed posted speed limits or violate traffic laws when they are in operation. If you continue having problems and don't get anywhere with the local police departments contact Penna State Police they are in charge of keeping a "roster" of all people who have permission to use blue lights...

Quit crying if it was your house on fire you would want them racing too....I suggest you write the firehouse a letter with your name and address so they know who you are so when your house catches fire its OK to take their time.

It is common courtesy to get out of a emergency fire person's way. No attack but if they were racing to put out a fire at my house I'd SURE move over! Don't gripe about it, just let them go! No they do not have the right to break any laws but again I wouldn't want them to take their time racing to my emergency!
