I suppose you can close the issue if you like. But I would note that Brookhaven recently had a similar patch to make--the section of roadway adjacent to the curb. Those curbs are vintage--large pieces of cut rock. Brookhaven took the time to properly re-seat them so they would continue to properly function. That appears not to have happened here. Dad always taught me that the job wasn't done until it was done correctly.
