Thank you for reporting this issue to the Macon-Bibb Parks & Beautification Department. It will be referred to a supervisor to address as soon as possible.

Great mow and brush/weed cut done just hours after requesting service. Truly responsive! Still need to pick up downed limbs, drop and remove a few dead trees, etc., but overall a great job.

Update:
Dog litter stations, with signage, have been added in Camellia Gardens and Jackson Springs. Concrete pad has been poured for permanent trash cans to be installed when they arrive. Tree and stump removals planned as part of winter projects when mowing season ends.

Thank you very much! If folks will just pick up after their pets and place all their trash in cans we'll have accomplished something. Will there be a trash can in JSP - I didn't see a pad there. Can the chain from W. Jackson Springs Drive be reattached to the bollards?

We hope to have some press releases and PSA coming soon on the education component. We are using the curbside pickup containers in JSP as there is limited access for pickup on that end. We will address the chains also.

Walked both Jackson Springs Park and the Lee Camellia Garden yesterday; both areas still littered with dead and downed tree branches (some quite large), the Lee Camellia Garden (especially the area adjoining Parkview Drive) is still, after all these years, littered with domestic trash, and dog feces still litter the walking trails. Recently cars have been observed driving the pedestrian trails off Glenridge Drive into the parks. What should be a premier historical and horticultural park in Bibb County is, in fact, an embarrassing eyesore. I would challenge County officials to walk these parks with me to observe these continuing problems firsthand. There is much more to this County than just downtown Macon and the 2nd Street corridor.
