Apologies for delay. The contractor responsible for the project has been notified, however, their arrival date has not been scheduled. Updates will be posted as soon as they become we available.
My sincerest apologies on the amount of time this has taken to resolve. I have been in contact via emails to find out any information that can be relayed to the public, unfortunately I have not received a response as of yet. I will definitely make contact on Monday and try to update the public as soon as possible. Your patience is very much appreciated as we work to resolve the issue. Thank you for using Gallup Connect.
March 9th Update - this is a warranty issue with the contractor that completed the work. The item will be repaired under the project warranty by the contractor. Contractor has informed Project Engineer that they will need asphalt/hot mix to repair issue. Only asphalt plant in area has been closed for the winter season, but is scheduled to re-open in mid to late March. Will keep in contact with Project Engineer and Contractor to ensure issue is repaired.
April 12th update - we haven't lost sight of this issue and have worked out the repair with the contractor that did the original work. It's still under warantee. The local asphalt plant has not started producing hot mix, yet. The plant should start up this month; however, please realize that the first set of mix will likely be going to the NM Dept of Transportation for roadwork, so we won't be first on the list for asphalt. We will fix this. If you'd like to discuss further, please let me know and I can give you a call.
