Description
Large 18 Wheeler transfer trucks have been lawlessly violating posted " NO TRUCK" signs at each end of ROMAINE STREET. The signs are located at the intersections of Romaine St. and Fairfax Rd. and at Romaine St. and Sellars Ave. . Violations have been reported in the past with no action being taken. This is a safety hazard as this is a narrow residential road where parking is permitted on both sides of the street. We live at 4419 Chateau Drive on the corner of Romaine and Chateau. We've been here for 42 years. Please enforce the " NO TRUCK" signs. Herbert Lee Smith - 336-549-1690

Problem is not so much a Parking issue. Problem is 18 wheeler trucks using Romaine to cut through to Gate City Blvd. These large heavy trucks are not allowed to travel on Romaine per the signs.Correct me if I am wrong. The trucks could use either Hilltop or Fairfax/Merritt to access Gate City Blvd.
