Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. The bay trails along the bay front, lagoon, and channel areas are both publicly and privately maintained. The trail between Hilton Gardens and Mills Medical Group building is privately maintained. This trail consist of several parcels and are owned by different individuals or entities. We are working on identifying the right property owner to notify. We will also notifying the Bay Conservation and Development Commission, the authority that oversees the trails in that area.

Public Works Inspector walked the length of the trail between Hilton Gardens and Mills Medical Group building and was unable to locate the hazard as described. There are some minor displacement of the asphalt due to plants along the trail, all less then 2-inches. If you are able to provide more information as to the location of hazard, we can further investigate. Thank you.

The PW Senior Inspector highlighted the hazard area with paint to alert pedestrians and cyclists (see attached picture). He spoke with the front desk of Hilton Garden Inn, the property owners of the area and alerted them of the issue. He spoke with Faith and John of the hotel's Operations group and looked at the hazard together. John will speak with Kennedy Masoli, the Operations Director, who is currently out on business, and get back to our inspector on the status of the repairs. We will continue to keep you posted until repairs are made.

I believe the issue has been resolved. I will have our inspector confirm and take some photos.
