This site on Chippendale is more than an eyesore. How many YEARS do we have to deal with the constant blight and homeless camps? County please get more involved and find a permanent fix, I know this has been turn in more times than you can count and the problem still exists. It is a fire hazzard with use of open bbq's, health hazzard property being use as a toliet, drug paraphernalia littering the lot, used condoms, this community needs your help please step up to correct this blight!
I'm having difficulty understanding this. Through the years, the County has had NO problem making ominous threats of legal action against me whenever my lawn gets too long for its liking. Step two is to actually, oh I don't know, DO something about it. You're the County. You know who the property owner is. Slap him, her or it with a lien and if the property isn't cleaned up, SELL it! Then watch how quickly other slumlords clean up their act. What's that? Oh... you're welcome. :-)
Last time I checked, the owner was in default on the property. Regardless, the owner or the bank that owns it, needs to be held accountable for the potential loss of our property values, and the potential fire hazard caused by homeless encampments.
You are exactly right he needs to care for this property or if in default have it auctioned off. It has been decades of sitting like this, so disgusting.

We will see how quickly they react. At least they have an officer assigned to the case Officer Garcia. Please refer any future problems to him.
311 please take note that properties on the east side of the freeway is Old Foothill Farms not North Highlands. Please correct your maps.
