Description

Hello,

My name is Justin Pickering. My wife Margarita and I live at 65 Eastern Avenue. For the past few weeks, there have been 2 cars, a silver Prius and a green or brown Corolla parking in between my neighbor Jay's driveway and my driveway. Jay and I let it go for a while because we did not want to be jerks and thought maybe they would realize they shouldn't park there and move on. We were mistaken. The two cars whose plates are included in a JPEG below continue to park there time and again, despite polite notes we have left asking them to desist. The little section of curb is not large enough for a car to fit, so inevitably, the offender's car(s) end up blocking either a portion of his driveway or mine or both. We are all having trouble backing out of our driveways. We are also concerned that in the winter, our vehicles could slip and impact the inappropriately parked vehicles. I am attaching photos of the offending vehicles' license plates. Please have the police contact these individuals and ask them to refrain from parking in that spot. It would also be great if the someone from the city would come and put up a No Parking sign on that particular segment of curb space to make sure this does not happen over and over again. There is ample public parking available about 200 yards down the street, so anyone visiting the neighborhood can easily park there since this is not a busy neighborhood at all. My email is justindpickering@gmail.com. Please feel free to be in touch at any time for any reason. Thank you for your time.
