This pile and others in same area. A missing section of sidewalk just north of this problem has been reported multiple times with no resolution.

The missing sidewalk is at 2300 Easthills Dr. According to the homeowner multiple requests have been submitted. I personally made a request shortly after the passing of Dan Jones.

Public Works Street Dept sent this message to me:

When road work is done in the area they will repair the sidewalks.

I appreciate the timely response by Public Works to the sidewalk situation. If understand correctly, the water department removed the sidewalk to make repairs to the water meter. After repairs are made to the meter, the street department installs the new sidewalk. The sidewalk was removed over two years ago. If there can be no sidewalk repair performed except when road work is done. Is there any road work on the schedule for this area? Hope so!

Wait until I break my ankle on that missing sidewalk. Does the City Of Moore really need that to happen to repair a sidewalk they tore up? Sounds like the Departments need some communication training and someone needs to review some procedures.
