Q. Additional issue details?
A. A silver Honda Ridgeline is parked every weekday in this no parking zone. It has a police placard on the dash. They should not be allowed to park their personal vehicle in this critical traffic lane. That is a highly congested area during rush hour and this vehicle parking in that no parking zone causes problems. And why is a personal vehicle allowed to park in a no parking zone when they are clearly not on an emergency assignment? I can understand that, from time to time for emergency response, there would be a need for a police personal vehicle to park in a no parking zone. In this case, it's clear they're using this as their regular daily parking space which should not be allowed even if they are police. Park in a ramp or a legal spot. This makes the city and police look bad and may even cause an accident.
