I am not sure whether the Kroger/Alum Creek/Main intersection is Bexley or Columbus Police jurisdiction but more attention needs to be paid to drivers making left turns out of Kroger without yielding to traffic turning right from Alum Creek Drive onto Main. At least weekly and usually more often, I am cut off by drivers turning left from Kroger without even hesitating/acknowledging the traffic turning right. If this can't be addressed via enforcement/ticketing perhaps the signal from Kroger needs to be changed to provide a left turn arrow to let shoppers exit Kroger more safely and efficiently.

There are two lanes on Main Street. Cars turning left from Kroger's are legally permitted to turn into the left, closest to Kroger's, lane and cars turning right are suppose to turn into the right lane. If either wants to change lanes after turning, they should signal and change as for any lane change. Nearly all driver turning from Alum Creek to Main, use both lanes to complete their turn. This is discourteous and slows down everyone. It would be best if a berm were installed for about 20-30 feet forcing cars turning from either to turn into the correct lane. There is no reason, other than people turning improperly, that both can turn at the same time. Happens everywhere -- as if no one learned the rules. Ohio Revised Code:
4511.36 Rules for turns at intersections.
(A) The driver of a vehicle intending to turn at an intersection shall be governed by the following rules:
(1) Approach for a right turn and a right turn shall be made as close as practicable to the right-hand curb or edge of the roadway.
(2) At any intersection where traffic is permitted to move in both directions on each roadway entering the intersection, an approach for a left turn shall be made in that portion of the right half of the roadway nearest the center line thereof and by passing to the right of such center line where it enters the intersection and after entering the intersection the left turn shall be made so as to leave the intersection to the right of the center line of the roadway being entered. Whenever practicable the left turn shall be made in that portion of the intersection to the left of the center of the intersection.
