I want this fixed because Rutherford Avenue used to be one of the most beautiful streets in the West Ward. For the last 20 years the street has slowly become blighted. COmmunity efforts seemingly have fallen on deaf ears in city Hall and were left with the wreckage of slumlords and abandoned city owned properties. We also need street lights. The streets are so crowed at night that you cannot see to leave your house. This problem can only lead to crimes.When will something be done. We could also use alot more police presence in the area. There are fights nightly and groups of men are constantly standing on the sidewalks, which makes it very uncomfortable for any female who needs to get from her car to her home.
