The tree at the bottom of my driveway is in dire need of trimming. With a storm coming this weekend, I am concerned about the potential for limbs to take down power lines or damage my home. It is a silver maple and grows like a weed. The city has not trimmed it for at least 2 years.
I have repeatedly asked for this tree to be removed, and every time a severe storm comes I need to request trimming. If the city won't remove the tree, I don't understand why they cannot proactively trim it on a regular schedule.
Lengthy power outages that impact food refrigeration and cooking are difficult for us because my son has several dangerous food allergies that cannot be easily accommodated in most restaurants. This tree causes us a lot of anxiety as a result.
