No response to date on problem. it appears the new house construction driveway is being poured today without a pipe for drainage, which will completely block all drainage for the street. In the past the city has had to add extra piping under our drive to keep water flowing. I warned the crew of the problem. please send someone to check immediately!!

Good morning Mr. Thomas, thank you for bringing this to our attention. On our end, someone will be by shortly to see about the original ditch issue. The City Engineering Dept has been made aware of the problem with the driveway drainage and should be investigating this shortly as well. We had a representative from our office to go out and look at this issue this morning. They are pouring the driveway but are waiting to do any of the work inside the City's right-of-way. The contractor was told they need to ensure they obtain a driveway permit through Traffic Engineering and that they also need to put in a driveway culvert to maintain the drainage.
