Seriously! I completely agree with this! It used to take me only 5 minutes to go from 6000 to 5600 to turn RIGHT to get on the freeway heading south, now it is either wait a half an hour to turn right, or go the other direction....which is where the Clearfield HAFB entrance is. So I'm stuck between 2 HAFB entrances. I miss my 15 minute commute which has now become a nightmare and even worse with the bad weather coming in!

Extremely dangerous especially as the weather is getting worse and more snowy. There will be dangerous accidents to come if this issue is not fixed.

Not only is the traffic horrendously backed up, but some motorists are detouring behind the businesses through the Rancheritos parking lot and then merging into traffic near the tracks on 5600 S. This causes even more congestion and wait time for those already waiting.

Our Traffic Operations staff met with the base last Friday. We learned that HAFB has changed their entering protocol, and this has reduced the number of lanes entering the base. They realize they have a problem and are looking for ways to change it, but this present configuration may be in place for a while.
