If an addition of dwelling g took place Zoning permit is all's necessary, Please send to zoning or even call zoning to look up that address to see prior permits pulled, normally even if a permit wasn't pulled they can pay a fine and get one issued back for dates when work did take place, now if they have encroached the property !One set back requirements you might have a civil matter
