I checked the status of the van and where it is parked this morning at approximately 0700 hours and it was legally parked. As of this time, there are no “NO PARKING” ordinances on that number block of Ft. Washington Avenue. The van was parked within 12” of the curb and well over 20’ from the intersection as is required.
If in the future you believe this van is parked illegally, please call UDPD dispatch at 215-646-2101 or dial 911 (MontCo emergency dispatch center) to have an officer respond immediately and take appropriate enforcement action.

A traffic survey has been scheduled for this location and will be completed as soon as possible. Upon completion of the traffic survey, the data recorded will be analyzed and appropriate enforcement action will be taken.

A traffic survey was completed during the week of January 25th thru February 1, 2017. The traffic survey showed an average daily traffic count of approximately 695 vehicles per day. The 85th percentile speed for the roadway was 35mph, which falls at the top end of the MUTCD standard but can be lowered. Targeted enforcement times will be sent to the Patrol Division to increase patrol presence.
