i rode there Saturday morning, overgrown brush & debris forced me into the travel lane several times.

I have often asked the City why they put n bike lanes and don't clean them. You can hardly expect people on bicycles to ride through leave and branches and litter. If the city doesn't want to keep them usable, they should do away with them. And you don't need a CSR to fix this; just ask Sanitation to come out and clean the area and have them set up a reliable schedule so we don't have to ask every time the lanes fill up with debris.

Update from Stormwater Department: closed per citizen the lane has been cleared.

Now, take a look at the bike lane on the west/south side of Columbus Way, from Bonita Way to Anastasia, and ask whether a bicycle could actually ride through all those pine needles. Once again we ask, if you're going to put in bike lanes, what good are they are if they are not regularly kept clean?
