Description
The bollard in the crosswalk across the top of Oxford St., at Beacon St., has been knocked over, and is in peril of being destroyed by being run over. This crosswalk warning bollard is in a bad place in this newly configured street location, due to the twisty turn that vehicles have to make entering Oxford St. It would be better placed on the sidewalk next to the bicycle shop (wedge-shaped building at the intersection).

Well, you asked. I hadn't wanted to write a book, but here it is:
1) I was reporting what my wife had related to me, from her walk up Oxford St. earlier today.
2) The bollard column had actually been knocked out of its base, not the whole thing tipped over. I should have worded it that way, I guess.
3) Fixing it on the spot (if possible) would have involved her getting out in the middle of an active street. I wouldn't do that myself, without help; she certainly shouldn't.
4) I also wanted to point out what I think is the too-problematic placement of the bollard in that narrowed, twisty bit of street.
So there's the whole issue, spelled out.
