Deskripsyon

The ditch/canal on the east side of Walthour has several downed trees from Hurricane Matthew that need to be removed. This will slow drainage from the interior of the island and increase the erosion to the banks. There are properties on either side of the ditch that will be affected by this.

It has now been 7 months since I reported this issue, and now we're looking at another storm that create a lot of rain that will we draining to this ditch/canal. With the amount of debris in the ditch, there are erosion concerns with the adjoining properties.

Do not close this issue. I have been working out of town and have not had a chance to schedule an appointment with someone from Public Works. If someone would make a site visit and walk the ditch the debris is apparent. My deed give the County a right of way to "maintain the ditch", but it has never been done since I have lived there (1988),
