There seems to be something going on in the city of Decatur public works department which makes it difficult to get potholes repaired in any timely fashion. Not sure what the actual problem is but maybe it's time to write a letter to the editor of the AJC?

Resurfacing this initial issue from 4 years ago. This has been a continuing, ongoing problem on the entire stretch of North Decatur Rd that City of Decatur is responsible for. We keep asking the city to correctly fix the long stretch of potholes in this area only to have them barely fixed or addressed. This request was from four years ago and the street is still in as much disrepair now as it was then.

This years-old thread is sadly still relevant because City of Decatur is at a point of near neglect for the citizens who live on this road. All we are asking is to not hear road noise at night due to this large potholes. We would like to keep this topic open until it is actually resolved. Thank you!
