I work for the City of Stamford and I'm wondering who these requests get sent to? Is anyone on the other end of this form that can actually do something about the reported problems?

Great question. I was thinking the same thing, that I should contact the government center and see if anybody in charge of these problems is paying attention to SeeClickFix. They should.
In fact, they should be required by law to monitor this board at least once a week. A notice here with sufficient identifying information should satisfy the legal requirement for notice to the town. The first person to be injured by any one of these dangerous conditions is always *sacrificed* (!) to the town's "right" to be notified of the defect beforehand and with "reasonable" time for them to get around to fixing it.
I think that law should be changed, and money should be earmarked to pay human monitors to check for defects. The first thing a safety monitor should do is look at these complaints and follow through on getting them fixed. If the budget for repairs isn't big enough and priorities have to be established, then there should be a townwide fundraiser every year for the public repairs budget.

I can't speak for all of these reported issues, but I reported three things on 5/31/2018 (2 potholes, 1 traffic light timing problem), and the potholes were repaired in less than a week.
I will point out that it's not easy to figure out how to get back to the list of the things you've reported. I click Watch Areas, choose Stamford PLUS, and then hover over the people icons till I see mine and click on it. That pulls up my "account," where I can manage the reports I've made.
However, again, it's not easy to figure out how to close your report. If you select "Close this issue," you'll be alerted that you can't leave the comment field blank. So you have to put at least a period or something in the message box before you submit your request to CLOSE the issue. Then when you click Comment, your comment appears with "CLOSED" on it. The report will still say "Open" until you re-access the report by navigating away from it. I click on Issues, and my newly-closed reports show up as the first item, with its status as "CLOSED."
