Generally, recycling left in unsecured containers on the roadside makes a mess. It would be better for the recycling pick up to come from standard issued bins (for paper and for glass/metal) that keep this material secure.

It was not an unsecured container....it was the regular bin they always put it in.

Thanks, almost all the bins used for the recycling on the roadside are open bins with no covers and so they spill the materials across the road and the lawns. Also, the paper products have to be put separately and so frequently blow around the road and property.
