(C) Regulations Applicable to Signs in All Zones.
(1) Prohibited Signs. The Following signs are prohibited and shall be removed or brought into conformance in accordance with 14-16-4-11 of the Zoning Code:
(g) Free-standing signs with overhead wiring to supply electric power; however off premise signs are excluded unless underground power lines supply the site.

Please accept this with open mind. I was directed by city zoning to report any illegal work, illegal sign contracting, or use of unlicenced journey man to 311. It's their policy.

So I am right, the City (Zoning Dept) is directing their employees to post directly to the 311 website. Interesting indeed. What good could possibly come from such methodology given that they (Zoning) are the enforcement entity here - other than promoting self importance? TY for your forthrightness.

Disconnecting wiring is a quick fix. Removal of all wiring brings up to city code. Maybe check licensing of the contractor who did work & if used journeyman.
