City of Folsom Landscaping and Lighting District Manager assigned this issue to City of Folsom Sewer Division

Following the last storm several of the manholes nearby this structure were also very smelly!

"Building has been checked, no issues were found." Then you didn't check very well. 100% agree this building stinks. I smell it for 1/4 mile on each run that I go past it. This is not a new or unique report. This has been an issue since it was constructed.

Today there is pungent smell all across folsom from Iron Point Road to Blue Ravine or E. Bidwell. Is this the same issue above?

The City’s wastewater division routinely monitors this location, along with others, for possible odors. During several visits by City staff and with the design engineer, the wastewater division did not identify any odors at this location. City staff will continue to check that the operations of the building work as designed. In other areas of the City, the wastewater division receives similar concerns from locations that are near holding ponds with stagnate water. Stagnate water can also give off an odor similar to a sewer smell. For future reference, please let the City know the time of day when the odor is a concern. This may help pinpoint the cause or help improve City operations. Thank you for your concern.
