Well it's nice to know they follow all the driving laws except the speed limit. Because that's evident on Evans ST I didn't threaten anyone but I can wish for something bad to happen now can't I? And it's pretty hard to ignore the constant revving up of their engines when they're around. I'm sure I'm not the only one who is tired of it. So don't you write ignorant comments if you don't know what you're talking about.

You already rev it up at 5:30 so what else is new. Hey,only doing the world a favor. It's not much different than the guy who just shot himself over the road rage. Maybe if enough people are aware of you they'll report you so when you make your fatal mistake they'll be reporting "Oh yeah we had several reports on this guy driving like an a-hole." What goes around comes around loser. And sorry there is no way that when you turn on Evans from Oak and go full throttle up to East you are doing 25 . My ma didn't raise no fool, fool. Loud pipes...whatever. I'll make sure when I call the cops that they cruise on by at 5:30am to listen to what everyone has to put up with.

This is also a problem on Hanover Street, at King St. My kids are trying to study, sleep, etc. and those loud motorcycles are very distruptive. I figure it's just motorcycle drivers compensating for something else lacking (between their legs)!

Shame on you Mr. Motorcycle Revver. It was never a black or white issue until you made it an issue. It's not because of your race.... and was never due to your race. The issue (or complaint) is - there are times when the loud revving of your and other's nice bikes - disrupts the peace of ones homes. PS... there are a number of harley riders in the area too... but they don't rip, roar up and down the streets & alley ways....

People are always going to have something to complain about, it maybe the loud motorcycles, people with loud radios. Whatever the complaint is there is a positive way to address the issue without being negative. I would prefer to hear a loud motorcycle revving his engine going up the road than to hear a bunch of worthless people that do not have a job hanging out at the corner of my home all hours of the night. If the revver is making noise at 5:30 in the am, that is because he is on his way to WORK and not doing illegal activity to get the things he wants. By the way revving a motorcycle engine has nothing to do with being a bad role model. You people are crazy....

The point you are missing is this isn't just normal going up the street motorcycle noise. This is stopping in front of a house or hanging out in an alley and sitting there revving up an engine for no apparent reason other than to irritate people. And promising people that now you'll be sure to be out there at 5:30 in the morning to irritate you even more is not finding a solution. Or using Evans and Franklin St for your own personal dragstrip is not finding a solution. The solution is to slow down and pull up in front of your house or behind your house and just shut your stupid bike off. Problem solved.No one is impressed that you have a bike. Thousands of people have bikes. But not everyone is an inconsiderate jerk.

There is a noise ordinance in Pottstown, if there is a loud car or motorcycle plaguing my neighborhood, I call the cops and they usually come out and monitor the situation. The cops are pretty responsive, especially if you reside in a downtown area and the noise levels are inappropriate for neighborhood living. Also, the "early morning car honking" the cops are pretty good about stopping.

Everyone on here is pathetic. As far as the noise ordinance, there isnt anything in there about driving a loud vehicle. And as far as the revving in the garage, Usually people use their garages to fix there vehicles so whats the difference if its a motorcycle? You dont hear people complaining about loud hot rods being revved in their garage now do you? And they are a hell of a lot louder than Mr. Revvers motorcycle. I can garuntee that when you hear his bike in the morning, he is going to work, and I can garuntee that so far this year you havent heard his bike past 8:30pm. Like he said, Loud pipes save lives, everything on his bike is LEGAL. And you should have approached him about your issue, instead of posting his address online. What a lovely example for your children.

What is your problem with having this address posted? It asks for it when you fill this out. Everyone in this particular area knows who this is about anyway. So what exactly has you worried? Some other illegal activity going on perhaps?? That's fine that he's going to work in the morning maybe he could do it a little quieter because it really isn't necessary to rev your engine to the extent that he revs it to get to work. And yes maybe a different approach would have been better HOWEVER this isn't the first issue that neighbors have had with this person or property and approaching him or whoever lives at that residence has NEVER been met with any kind of cooperation. So sorry if you are offended that your address was posted. That's what happens when you are dealing with unreasonable people. And I'm done with arguing with ignorant people. Wow! these comments were very entertaining....no one speeds on those blocks speeding is dangerous and there are too many POT HOLES in the areas that you guys are talking about... you should prob be worrying about the speeding cars! Hell, I almost got run over twice while having my bike worked on in the alley. We all have rights! Just because you don't ride and don't understand why we motorcycle riders have loud pipes. Don't make us wrong... Loud pipes save lives.... It's people like you who talk on the phone while your driving, cut us off and Kills us..Thats the reason for the pipes... We have to put up with that, so you should be able to handle a little noise during the day time...I think that there are other issues here! As Rodney King would say "Can't We All Just Get Along"?

Excessive noise is subjective. There is nothing the police are going to do about the pipe. There is no effective means to measure the sound pressure level in an outside area. There is too much ambient noise to establish a baseline noise floor. Even if there were to be a citation written, it would get tossed out in court. First reason being , the person who made the complaint would be called in as a witness and more than likely wouldn't show up. They want to hide behind their computer and stay anonymous. Second, all from what I stated above.
