Why does the City allow 30 plus political signs at the intersection of Canton Street and Woodstock Road? It looks horrible and shouldn't be allowed. None of the signs have a blue sticker sign permit that's required for every other sign we want to display. Like for tag sales, events etc. Why is that? Please have them all removed. We need a city ordinance prohibiting these types of signs

Thank you for reporting this issue. As per the current code, political signs do not require a permit (please see code referenced below).
Temporary Signs Not Requiring a Permit. The following
temporary signs are allowed without the issuance
of a temporary sign permit, provided they meet the
specified standards below.
1. Political Signs. A sign identifying or urging voter
support for a particular election issue, political
party, or candidate for public office. A political sign
cannot exceed 32 square feet in area and 8 feet in height.
