Descrição

Signal lights at Flosden Rd and the southern Via Bellagio do not appear to have the most efficient settings.
1-Whether you are traveling north or south, when go to make a turn into either of the neighborhoods the turn lane takes forever to change. Most often it will not trigger for 2-3 minutes (not good) depending on day of week and time of day. Occasionally is will be less, depending on time of day and day of week. Most times the turn signal will not trigger until vehicles are waiting to leave the neighborhoods on either side of the road. AFTER they get the green light, then the turn lanes will get their turn. Proper order to be sure but very frustrating after sitting in turn lane for minutes with no vehicles traveling in either direction on Flosden.
2-If a car approaches the intersection on the Via Bellagio side too far ahead of the World Marine side, the signal for World Marine WILL NOT TURN GREEN. I have seen a couple occasions where accidents nearly occurred because the light does not turn green. March 19, 2017 being the most recent.
Possible solutions - Adjust timing on signals at this intersection. If no vehicles have crossed the intersection for 30 seconds it seems ridiculous for a vehicle in the turn lanes be forced to wait for 1)whatever amount of time the light is currently set at or 2)a vehicle from either neighborhood to exit. This also takes a long time.
When vehicles exit either neighborhood make it so signal lights in both directions turn green, whether there is a car there or not. One of these days there will be an accident due to poorly timed signals.
