Description

I just passed the intersection of Mt Vernon Rd and Chamblee Dunwoody Rd. There was an Ambulance with its lights on, a Fire Truck, two Dunwoody Police cars, an officer directing traffic, and a very nice (probably very expensive) bicycle without a rider. I am assuming it was not a good day for the bicyclist. We all should find better ways to share the road. The video below shot Thursday during my morning run and was taken at the same intersection 11 Alive did a feature story about last year. The cross walk is used to get to Georgetown Park where there is a child's playground and great running trail. The nice sign that was installed to remind motorist of the cross walk is now gone. City of Dunwoody, can you please get sign replaced? Three cars passed me while I was in the cross walk AND the middle of the road before a responsible motorist stopped to let me cross. This happens frequently, but I just thought I would make another video to show. The video is located here in case you want to view. https://www.facebook.com/abziffer
